Title: Prophet 12 Module Discontinued?

So, I know the Prophet 12 has been retired, but does this apply to the module as well? Unlike the keyboard version, the module hasn't been moved to the "legacy" instruments section on the website yet, so maybe there is hope! I guess I'm asking because I'd really like to get my hands on one before they disappear completely, but I'm not currently living in a country where the price for DSI/Sequential gear is reasonable, and I'm scared time may be running out!

I believe Prophet 12 module is discontinued too.
It's a wonderful synth and even if DSI/Sequential release a mega synth to replace it, I'll still be keeping mine.
If there's no P12s in the shops by the time you're ready to buy, I'm sure you'll be able to find one online on ebay or reverb.com etc.

The Prophet 12 Module is still on the Sequential web site.  That generally means it's still available from the company and elsewhere.

I was afraid it would be eventually; this is exactly why I picked one up!  I feel the P12 has a unique sound profile I was after which may not be properly recaptured by future products (at least in the near future), especially VCO based synths.

We can only hope that the Prophet 12 will have a meaningful replacement.  It seemed to me like the most natural of synthesizers, in that it had more or less all the features one should have.  I would only have added a greater variety of digital wave shapes, similar to the variety in the Evolver line.  That's one reason I don't think the P12 could at all substitute for a PEK; the two instruments have totally different characters.
