Title: Sequencer latch?
Post by: darcynader on July 01, 2019, 04:32:36 PM
On my desktop evolver, with a MIDI keyboard hooked up I can "latch" (not sure if this is 100% the correct term) the sequencer. Meaning I can press a key and it will continually play the sequence, then if I press a different key it will transpose the sequence and keep playing it.

Is it possible to do this on the PEK? I know I can do something similar by putting the Trigger Type into "Key, Gates Seq" mode, but then I have to keep the key pressed down, which isn't always great when performing. I can kind of understand why it would be this way in poly mode, but it appears even in mono mode it behaves the same way.

darcynader, I can't recall off hand,  I'll check this out next time I'm behind it.  I can't see why it wouldn't.
