Title: Can Mopho patches be copied to Tetra?
Post by: gkmachine on May 08, 2019, 03:33:19 PM
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, here or elsewhere, but I'm wondering can Mopho (either keyboard or desktop) patches be copied/transferred via SysEx dump to the Tetra?

If so is it fairly straightforward? Do i need both editors (I currently just have Mopho editor)?

I just got the Tetra today but there's one patch I want to migrate over

Thanks

You can dump programs from the Mopho directly to the Tetra using a single MIDI cable. A couple things to note; the Mopho program will be written to the same memory location on the Tetra, and if the program contains analog feedback you'll need to set the value again once it arrives to the Tetra because Mopho doesn't have programmable feedback.

Perfect......that did it. I didn't realise it was so simple! Genius :)
