Title: New user question
Post by: jconway3 on May 06, 2019, 01:52:06 AM
Hi all
Can someone please explain the relationship between the names on the pads in 16 sounds mode with the actual sounds on the individual pads. I have discrepancy between the two. Also how it’s the folder and load sound visible at the outer edge of the display relevant.
I apologise in advance if these are basic quest but I am struggling with interpreting the manual

OS etc are all up to date

Thank you

You have to be more specific on that...

Hi thank you for your reply. Here goes
So let’s say I’m looking at the 16 sounds screen and in the display and see a sounds name displayed on each of the 16 boxes on the display. Now let’s say  box number 1 says TAMB, I would expect to hear a Tambourine sound if I hit pad one but instead I hear something else like say a clap or any other sound. How can I ensure that the 16 boxes on the display are a true reflection of the sounds loaded on each pad.
I hope this makes some sense

you can change the name of the pad, in pads screen hold shift then the 3rd knob  (Sound Type) above the oled will change the pad  name. there is a limited number of usable names. they dont always make sense in the presets.
