Hello,
I'm digging the P12 matrix, can someone tell me the definition of the "Random" and the "Audio Out" modulation sources ?
In advance, thank you!

As for Audio Out... from the manual, p. 51, "Audio Out is the digitized audio signal after the Amplifier VCA." -- I would think that you could think of it as a continually variable positive value of between 0 and 127 depending on the amplitude of what's coming out of the Audio Outs.
Random... I have always assumed to be a random value of 0 to 127, but I could be wrong.

Thank You for your answers!

It's a kind of super slop and a super feedback!!!
I got You!

I just hope I'm correct. You may try testing it by using Audio Out and random to modulate something that is easily discernible (like pitch) and see if you can make a determination as to whether the modulation is just positive (as opposed to bi-polar) and or if the Random modulation is on a "per note" basis -- I believe it would be.

A cigarette and I'll try!!!
Thanks again!

Random as a modulation source is a per voice modulation. It is excellent for adding depth and a controlled unpredictability to patches.
