Title: Question about Beta Versions

Is there a difference between beta versions and official releases if they have the exact same version number ? In other words is it recommended to overwrite a beta version with an official release from the support site if they have the same number ? Thanks

If the version number is the same, it is the exact same OS. No need to overwrite with the same file.

Often if the version number changes between the latest beta OS and the production release, it's simply a version number change and the OS remains functionally identical. We generally make a note of any changes to an official release version on the beta OS thread.
