So with so many people bricking their PX's and reports coming in of new SSD's being installed and the same thing happening ... What exactly is the action plan? ... I'm sure you're working away at a fix but some communication as to accepting there is a problem and a "We're working on it (but we're to busy with NAMM)" comment would be great?
I also think you should pull the Mapping software, OS 2.0.0.0.1, and get 8DIO to pull the 2 libraries (P5 and CP70) if you don't know what is wrong ... If you do then pull what is causing the issue.
I also think some communication to registered PX/L owners outside of forums (I.E. your own known database of users) warning them of what seems to cause the bricking issue.

We've confirmed the probable cause of the crash and are awaiting a faulty hard drive to be returned to verify our fix. We expect one hard drive to arrive for testing in the office today. Barring any unforeseen problems, we anticipate having an OS update with a fix by the end of this week or early next week.
Other PX users, please hold tight on loading any new content to the synth until we get this new OS out.
Our apologies to all who are having troubles in this regard. Rest assured we are working hard to resolve the issue.
