Yes, we all know the exact number.  :'(

I suppose Sequential could make the argument that, since they produced the Rev2, there was no reason for an SE.  But as for the Poly Evolver Keyboard...now wait a minute!

Actually there was an SE edition early on. Here's is an article about it.  http://www.analoguehaven.com/davesmithinstruments/prophet08/

The differences are cosmetic and the SE is personally signed by Dave Smith.  Don't know how many were made, but probably not a lot.
