Title: Question regarding UNISON mode
Post by: tempted11 on October 26, 2018, 09:04:46 AM
maybe i do something wrong here, but,

i know UNISON from other synths, that you still can play chords, but with voices "stacked", like each note with 2, 3 or 4 voices.

on the P12 i only can play MONO in UNISON, that's correct?

Yep, sad but true.  I love my P12 but reeeaally wish they’d add Poly Unison.

Best sync too :)

hard to understand, since i guess it is just a small software update

SCI once said that all of the codespace in the P12 is basically used up... adding this feature might simply not fit.

that also had been a problem with the TEMPEST (now that you mention it),
so maybe in coming synths they provide space for future development...

it's a shame though, would be great if it would be available via USB at least..

although on the other side there always seems to be a little space for some minor improvements like with the PRO2 now

so maybe there is still hope for poly unison ;)

You can at least a kind of two two voice unison that poly by stacking.
