So I tried to create two simple but comparable patches in each. There is no winner, they are just different, I like them both. I was more trying to answer the question: would I use the Nord Wave as a VA? Absolutely. I'd call the Nord sorta clinical, but focused and really powerful. I'd call the REV2 more ragged, squishy, round, easier to listen to for extended playing. I'd almost use the REV2 for main constant parts and the Nord for more incidental parts.
