I've spent more time with this than I have with my wife recently ???
Complete bare metal rebuild. Enjoyed the Project. Just need some knobs for it now.
-
Very nice - a huge improvement over the original design.

Thanks for the link. I'm in the UK. I'm having trouble finding a knob OEM that will sell a small quantity as they all have a minimum order value. Might have to bite the bullet and pay for the DSI mopho knob kit. Shipping to the UK is extortionate though.

I'd like it to glow in the dark.

You've got Thonk (https://www.thonk.co.uk/) there in the U.K., and they've got a better selection of synth knobs than just about anyone.

I wonder, how did you keep the knob labels on?
-
Yeah, the yellow clown car look was a little too much for me so I also customized my Mopho a few years ago. I painted the chassis black, added prophet style knobs, and included a font for the logo so it looks closer to the Prophet '08.

same question as above, how were you all able to get the graphics and lettering back on the machine after painting? looks great

Gear comes and goes, and you can't get too worked up about it. But, damn it all, I really miss my yellow Mopho Keyboard.

For my unit, no, I painted over everything on the back and just rely on the top overlay if I ever need to recall any of the inputs / outputs. *See attached*
