Title: The Sequencer
Post by: ReubenJones on June 08, 2018, 06:05:01 AM
If the PolyEvolver can polychain voices together, would it possible to chain together sequencers in multiple units to create 32+ steps?

Also, is there a way to have the sequencer trigger a new voice for each step without being in combo mode?

Reuben,

I haven't discovered that that ability yet, though I never really thought about that idea either.   I have messed around with 2 different sequences at once.  One on the master PEK, then using another on the module.

Soundquest, yes that is a fun thing to do - especially if you can get them running half a beat apart, like this drum rhythm:  https://www.instagram.com/p/BhZta4-A5HZ/?taken-by=reuben0jones

I expect what I asked would have to be a software/firmware upgrade, so unlikely.

Nope, polychaining just gives you more simultaneous voices, not longer sequences.

I have not been able to get a Poly Evolver to trigger sequences on any voice except Voice 1 in any mode.

What happens in Combo mode with multiple voices stacked? Was wondering if that could run sequences in multiple voices at the same time.
