Hi all. So I currently use LMSO ("Little Miss Scale Oven") to send new custom tunings to my REV2. Unfortunately LMSO stopped updating their software some years back and it does not work on modern OS X versions (it stops at Mavericks).
So....What is your favorite way to load custom tunings onto your REV2 (or comparable DSI synth)?
I'm aware of this software - http://www.tallkite.com/alt-tuner.html (http://www.tallkite.com/alt-tuner.html) - maybe you've tried this and have some feedback?
Thanks everyone

I don't know if this recipe from the prophet 12 works (I guess it does, but I haven't tried it).

not only for loading scales, but for creating them and saving in every imaginable format. Nice thing is that with this you can save each file in sysex format for the prophet and designate a slot number without having to edit any hex files.
only for mac as far as I know... :(
I don't own a rev2, but this works great with my prophet 6 as well as for converting scala files to different formats for various other synths and software.

thanks, wetfood. I checked this out shortly after posting this. Talked to the author too. I think you were spot on, this seems the way to go. I appreciated the recommendation

no problem! truly happy to help.
yeah, Aaron is really a helpful guy. I pre-ordered one of his TBX-2 tuning boxes, and eagerly awaiting its arrival. Hoping it helps solve some of my tuning woes between software and hardware tuning presets (as well as re-tuning some non-tunable instruments). I feel like the dream of getting different instruments to play well together, (short of building everything from scratch) is still miles away though..
