Title: Tap Tempo LED problem
Post by: AlainHubert on December 27, 2017, 06:17:34 PM
I think that I've discovered yet another bug in my beloved REV2-16. When the synth is set to Slave for the tempo (receiving MIDI clock from another device), the Tap Tempo LED flashes at twice the speed that it should, even though the correct tempo is shown on the OLED display. For example, when set to 120 bpm on the master synth, the Tap Tempo LED will flash at 240 bpm on the REV2, whilst showing the correct 120 bpm value in the display.

Also, when changing program, the Tap Tempo LED will sometimes stay on, or not light at all when MIDI clock set to Slave.
The sequencer and arpeggiator will work at the right speed according to the external MIDI clock. Only the Tap Tempo LED is not working correctly.

Confirmed, I see the same. You should inform the support.

Got a feedback from Mark Kono from DSI support that this issue is now officially on the "to do" list of bugs to be corrected in a future firmware revision. Although there was no estimate given as to when this could be.
Keeping fingers crossed...
