Title: The Voltage Controlled Christmas Tree
Post by: chysn on December 08, 2017, 08:08:39 PM
Merry Christmas! Here's my evening project for a cold winter's night. I bought a couple strings of battery-powered LED craft Christmas lights and a small decorative Christmas tree. I clipped off the battery compartments, soldered the leads of the lights to 3.5mm jacks, and mounted the jacks in a plastic project box. Then I gift-wrapped the project box, and hung the lights from the tree.

This is just a simple noodling-around patch, with my dual LFO synced to my sequencer. The LFOs modulate some tonal parameters and they're multed to the "control gift."

I think I still need to get a star for the tree and a bow for the control gift.
