Title: Re: Question about CodeKnobs Website, etc. (SYNTHET)
Post by: Fauxstradamus on December 30, 2018, 08:58:26 AM
HI.   I own a Tetra and I would be interested in purchasing an improved editor for this synth.   I have really struggled trying to use the online editor that I currently have.   I went on the CodeKnobs web site and started the purchase process (for SYNTHET) but a message popped up in my web browser indicating that the web site is not secure and recommending that I do not provide any information or download anything, etc.  It would be great if someone could advise me on the status of the CodeKnob site's security certificate and so forth.  I realize that this Company/persion has a good reputation and designs very specialized products for these synths that are highly regarded.  But it would be nice to know that all possible/reasonable online security measures have been put in place.   Please advise on this.   Thanks.

codeknobs.com does have a valid certificate but the site itself is poorly-configured. All http pages should redirect to the https site to ensure that each page is secure. I'd certainly avoid entering personal or financial info on this site until that issue is resolved.

I agree! Hope to make this in near future. BUT when you buy the editor you will be redirected to payment service (2checkout) which is fully protected, I beleive :)

Kudos, codeKnobs! Synthet is a great tool for editing programs on the Tetra. However in my setup the patch librarian isn't super intuitive. I'm currently chaining a MoKey and Tetra, but since they're different synths the saved patches are stored separately in Synthet. I was wondering if there's any way to have one single library for both. Cheers!
