Title: This is how all parameters of the P12 look at the same time
Post by: Razmo on July 08, 2017, 07:18:44 AM
Yup... just bought a 4K monitor, and then rearranged my SoundDiver editor for the P12 module to show ALL parameters on the screen at the same time... quite a handful of parameters here :)

You may need to scroll the picture if you do not have a 4K monitor.

Interesting! Inspiring to see your editor layout. How much of the screen layout are images you create and insert into the editor layout? A 4K monitor sounds tasty!

Actually no graphics can be imported into SoundDiver... you can edit some very basic two color bitmaps which takes a long time, but I have not used that in this editor... all is elements from SoundDiver... even though it's useable, I still would have liked to be able to use custom knobs, sliders and buttons plus other graphics, but it's just not possible.

I tried to put the controls in the same flow as they go inside the P12... to make it more obvious how the sound flows, but there has to be a bit of compacting here and there to make it fit... also, SoundDiver is running in display scale mode here as the program is old and cannot scale by itself... when the controls are 100% size they are simply too small to work with on a 4K monitor... things get INSANELY small! ... but the advantage is in the sequencer because it allow me to see an awful lot of the timeline... that was my main reason to get a 4K monitor... it's basically the same as having four standard resolution monitors side by side in a grid of 2*2 screens.

Next up is to create an editor for the Roland V-Synth XT, and hopefully the Novation PEAK.

That is super cool  8)

Now all you need is a way to make it display virtual patch cords to show the modulation matrix slots like the old Nord Modular ;)

Razmo,  you mentioned "sequencer".  Does this Sound Diver controller offer a sequencer?  If I get a P12 I'd like to get an outboard sequencer for it, but if an editor can do that I'd be happy with that.
