Title: AS-1 doesn't stay in sync
Post by: flocked on June 28, 2017, 08:49:53 AM
My AS-1 doesn't stay in sync if used as midi slave.

This seems to be a common problem. Everybody reports about it. In every review its mentioned and even in this offical pioneer product presentation the presenter constantly restarts the clock to get the AS-1 in sync.

Any offical comment if this gets fixed? If not I will send my AS-1 back.

I didn't find it drifting if I stayed on a single patch, but changing patch re-triggers the sequencer regardless of whether it's on the beat or not. Makes it almost impossible to use the inbuilt sequencer in any live context.

I tend to sequence everything from an external source anyway (MPC) but I can see how it would be a problem for others.
