Title: Compressor Settings Question
Post by: AdamXAudio on May 27, 2017, 09:15:32 PM
A rather basic question, but the Compressor Settings (Attack/Peak Hold/Decay/Amount) only work when a pad is assigned to Env Trigger, correct?  I've read the Compressor Envelope notes in the 1.4 Manual Addendum and it never really made this quite clear... but from using the Tempest it seems like the Comp Env settings only take effect when Env Trigger is assigned to a pad.

Also in the 1.4 Manual Addendum it states that the Amount knob is supposed to go from -127 to 127, but mine only goes from -64 to 127.  Is that a bug?

Correct and correct on noticing the -64 rather than -127.

I believe it only goes to -64 because going up to -127 was to loud. It's on one of the beta's I have, if you want to have access to it.

It was like 2years ago so I can't fully remember. Almost positive it was set so no one would accidentally crush their ears. But it's not a bug. Some what an effort to tame it I guess.
