Title: [SOLVED] Distortion when MIDI clock sync starts and stops

I'm syncing my OB6 to an Akai MPC2000XL over MIDI clock. When I start the MPC the OB6 makes a ripping/distortion sound (of the current patch) and then settles down and then does it again when the MPC stops.

Any ideas?
