Hi!
The sequencer of my Pro 2 advances a step when I hit a key, even if I chose Play Source = Sequencer
That makes transposing a running sequence almost impossible, since hitting a key is likely to mess up the timing.
Am I missing something...?
-
I might misunderstand your issue, but with "restart" set on you should always start on first note of your sequence.
-
Thanks for your reply!
No restart, the sequencer keeps on advancing step by step when hitting a key (which is exactly what I want in my case) BUT when I hit a key to transpose this running sequence, the sequence advances an ADDITIONAL step. There goes my synchronization...
This behaviour now has been confirmed by other users on another Forum, and I believe this is something DSI needs to fix.
Is there an official way to report bugs to DSI?
-
Got it. But fortunately mine does not suffer from that.

Ok, I contacted the DSI support. Let's see if they have an solution.
Another question: Is it possible to use the Pro 2's for sequencing an external synth (like, my modular) and play along indepently on the Pro 2's keyboard?
Couldn't figure it out yet...

You can, but it's sort of pain going the midi route. Best I can do is record notes into tracks (other than track one). Then set a mod source for that track out to midi. I've used the CV out with more ease. Really wish this could be "rectified" in some update. I'd love to tie it into the PO8.

Thanks! I see. Will have to test that.
Btw., I just got the information from DSI, the sequencer problem I mentioned will be fixed in an OS update (which will be released soon). I'm happy! :-)

The noted behavior with the sequencer advancing a step when a key is pressed has been fixed in the latest BETA OS.
