Worth every penny. A little taller, a little larger, a LOT sexier. Makes playing with knobs even easier, and i prefer the locator on them.

I'm wondering if it will still fit in the Tempest gig bag with the taller knobs.

Ive had the tempest for 2 years and the gig bag and prophet knobs were the first things I bought even before I had the unit.
The unit fits in the case with the prophet knobs.

How much taller are we talking? I've got a Pelican case that I've custom fit the Tempest to.

Are you speaking to me? If you want to see the temp in the DSI soft case, ill snap a photo.
What model pelican case do you have? I use pelican cases for my camera equipment so if I have one of a similar size ill snap a photo with the temp in it.

Actually, if you could just measure the distance from the surface of the Tempest to the top of the knobs, that would be really helpful!

This won't help.... After using them a bit, I still love them. When entering names and other edits that require fast and accurate scrolling... these are on point. Im a snob about sleek looks too, so no complaints yet.

Well... I couldn't resist. I can confirm that the knob kit makes for a sleek and sexy Tempest. It looks good. It feels good. It fits in my Pelican case with no measurable difference.

Another happy customer here. I had to replace my LPF frequency pot, so while I was at it I decided to treat my Tempest to the knob kit as well. It's such an improvement over the stock knobs, much grippier and way better looking.

I actually removed and replaced the knobs on my Prophet 6 with knob sets from the Access Virus Ti Dark Star (which I bought from a chap in England) and I have ordered new black Chroma Caps for my Tempest. I also ordered new black Chroma caps for my Pro 2. At least I like the DSI knobs on my OB6......

I just bought some sexy lingerie for my Tempest! In 3 weeks she will be slutty...I still can't believe the hype over a knob kit.

Would like to get these but shipping from the US is pretty expensive. $39 for the kit and $22 for postage. Cannot possibly be that heavy? Juno in the U.K. wants almost €50 for the kit.
Are there any other options? I'd like to get a kit for my Tempest and maybe one for my Pro One and Mopho too.

Nah..My guess is you won't find it cheaper than Juno in Europe...Else you have to tell someone to bring it over to you from U.S

You could try your local store. I did and avoided the import charges etc. Net cost was a little cheaper.

I'm in the US a couple times a year so I'll order just before my next trip. I've been searching online and there are plenty of modular synth options so I'll see if I can get some that way.
