Title: New Moog product?
Post by: LPF83 on August 09, 2021, 04:40:37 PM
So there's some buzz about a new product coming from Moog soon.

If you got your wish, what would it be?

I'm much more of a Sequential or Oberheim guy than a Moog fan...  but one synth I'd be very interested in is a Moog Source reissue, especially if it came in at around a grand or so and was a faithful replica.

I don't like the interface of the Source, and the ugly colors only appeal to me only but for nostalgic reasons... the sounds that came out of it were great, though.

An keyboard format analog vocoder/string machine with built in analog chorus/phaser with full polyphony using divide down technology.

Wonder if they might do a scaled-down or mono version of One.

It'll be a Voyager Mk II.

Please please please let it have a ladder filter! (fingers crossed!)

Personally I'm pulling for a formant filter.
