I thought this pic was awesome. Surprised we don't see this wizard/prophet guy anymore with Sequential's stuff. I'd totally get a t shirt with him on it. haha

No if you could find the demo cassette or record, that would be super cool!

Cheers Paul! You obviously own the record and I must say well done in holding onto it for so long.
I still have all my vinyl records but not any of the flexidiscs I acquired from magazines and read-along story books. I really wish I had the old Mad Magazine burping song record, but I'm pretty sure that got turfed by my mum as she hated it!
Annoying how how edits aren't available after however long, I meant to say "now" not "no".

I've got the folder and the brochures for the P5, P10 and Pro One, but I don't know where my P5 flexi has gone, alas! I love all that stuff. I'm sure if I sold all my synth brochures I'd have money to buy another synth, but the pleasure of paper is a thing unto itself.

Oh, I actually never owned a physical copy of these. I just downloaded the files a couple of years ago from this Prophet-5 tribute site while they were still available: http://users.telenet.be/prophet-5/
So I only preserved these recordings and added the according visuals I could find on Discogs or elsewhere. I did the same thing for Dave's first documented Evolver presentation.

From David Abernethy's "The Prophet from Silicon Valley":

Bob Styles used to be the sales and marketing manager at Sequential between 1979 and 1983. He came up with the idea of the Prophet Man.

Ah right, nice work.

No, I'm not that old ;D I had the up-beat disco version from 1980, heheheh. I just had a look for it and I had forgot it was basically an EP with other songs parodying the Saturday Night Fever craze. After having a quick listen to the other songs I'm now pretty sure I know why the record ended up "lost" when I asked where it was.

I'd totally get that jersey if they repressed it.

I'm also sure the Prophet Man outfit would make for a great Halloween costume.
