So I realise this is a stretch, but I have a question / request regarding the AM feature of the P12:
Intuitively it seems like a pretty minor modification of the Prophet 12 firmware to be able to do bipolar AM i.e. ringmod, but if I understand correctly, it modulates amplitude only in a unipolar fashion, so no ringmod.
Is there a particular reason that this is omitted, and would this be something that could be considered in a firmware update?
Best, J

Hey Tysktil
From what I understand, the P12's computer space is full: I dont think there will be any more updates.
In my video https://youtu.be/pnLejOuLkRE (https://youtu.be/pnLejOuLkRE) you can see that ringmod is actually possible with use of the LFOs. The LFOs can only keyboard track within audio rate for a very narrow frequency range, but you can definitely get ringmod tones with triangle LFOs at high rates. Unfortunately, I dont think we'll get inter-oscillator bipolar AM on the P12.
Hopefully someone else will chime in with some more ideas though!
Cheers
