Had a prophet 8 then moved to a mopho X4, then upgraded to a prophet rev2 8 voice. Love it!! Wondering if there is a way to control the overall volume of the voice when using 2 separate voices (split or layered voices). Would like to be able to mix the 2 voices easily.

Go to Misc Params and you can change the volume of the layers there. Not exactly a "quick" way to mix the sounds, but it's the only way I know (so far), unless you connect all four outputs to a mixer or audio interface.

Thanks for the info. Missed that in the manual. One more thing maybe you or someone could answer. When using 2 patches in a split or layer, it looks like you can choose from your existing presets. When you choose and existing and edit it, does it save as a new preset within that "layer" or does it change the individual patch you've chosen?
For instance, you have a layer with the A sound and want to change the B sound. You choose an existing B sound from another patch number. You edit that sound and save it within your new layer. Does this change the existing B sound in the other layer?
