Title: USB to power a keyboard controller ?
Post by: theAndroid on March 21, 2018, 04:28:25 AM
Hey,
I couldn't find the info in the manual (and don't have a Rev2 yet...) so here is the question : can I plug and power an external midi keyboard via the rev2 USB port ?
I'm thinking about a Roland A49 for instance, which has to get power from USB to run.

The Rev2 doesn't have a USB host connection. Its USB port only supports bidirectional MIDI communication with a computer. The Rev2, however, is a class compliant USB device and does not require additional drivers when used with macOS or Windows.

OK, that was my initial guess. Thanks for confirming this !
