Sometime in the past, I saw a video of Prophet 5 settings to mimic the ocarina sound that Lyle Mays used often. I've tried to scroll through the 512 presets to find something similar, but only come across some nice woodwinds/flutes. Anyone know of good settings (or a close preset I could tweak) for the ocarina?
ALSO: is there a way to search this forum?

Uploaded this patch to my PresetPatch profile. I think there's a few different variants of that Ocarina sound that Lyle used over the years... different character depending on the part and synth used, and whether live or studio. You can download this as a start though, and edit... lengthen the amp attack time and lower cutoff / key amount a bit if you want more of the smoother sound, rather than the more fusion lead ocarina sound. As I recall, did this patch as stereophonic layered to create a sort of multitrack sound... so you may want to also try just using one layer, and center the panning in matrix.
