Title: Keyboard stand arms against wood issue
Post by: gilesjuk on April 19, 2016, 02:52:36 AM
I've noticed on my P12 that my Jaspers keyboard stand arms have left a shiny mark on the wood. This is removable with a bit of elbow grease. I just wondered why it has happened.

My stand has some shiny soft plastic covers on the tabs at the end of the arms, the bits that stop the synth sliding off the arms when angled. I can only assume that the wood needs to "breathe" a little. Perhaps I should stick some felt between the two?

There have been a number of comments on DSI's wood end cheeks.  Here's one thread:

Thanks for that. Seems a common enough problem. I've also got it on a Pro 2 I've got listed on ebay, so I need to sort it quick. I guess it's just a wood oil build up.
