Hi There,
Sorry if this is easy but I can't work out how to get a sample in Oscillator 3 to be pad/velocity sensitive.
I was trying to set a it via the AMP Envelope by setting the amount to 30 and the velocity amount to 127 - should that work?
Very green when it comes to this stuff, any help or pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Those settings would work yes.

Do you mean get it's level to be velocity sensitive independent of the other oscs?
-
If you would want osc 3 sample to be velocity sensitive independent if the other oscillators you would set its volume to zero, then assign it to an auxiliary envelope 1 or 2, then dial in the settings like you would the amp but it would just control osc 3 (or whatever you assigned).

Sorry, I might be confused.
The analogue kicks I've used are soft/loud depending on how hard I hit the pads.
But this one kick I loaded isn't for some reason and while trying to understand why, noticed it was just a sample in OSC 3, hence the question.
I then fiddled with the AMP envelope and velocity amount as stated in the original post but it still is one volume - even in 16 levels?
Not sure what I'm missing. Will have another look tomorrow.

It depends how’s that sound was made...If other envelopes are involved too (filter,Aux etc.) or some parameters in the Mod matrix it can affect velocity..It’s more complicated than a simple Amp velocity amount..

OK, thanks heaps.

Hey Yorgos,
I keep choosing this kick because it sounds awesome but have just realised it might be one of yours: Punch8Kick_YA
If so, do you know how to get that sound to honour velocity? Some kicks have a velocity of 1 but they still sound full volume.
Sorry if this is easy, I use the tempest for song writing and am fairly green when it comes to synthesis. Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.
Cheers

You should check not only Amp Envelope but filter, pitch and aux envelopes too..Also check what’s going on in the mod matrix and if for example there’s amp envelope cranked up to the max..Maybe turn that down and raise amp envelopes peak setting to around 30..It’s a trial & error thing
