Good evening. I have a question regarding the modulation possibilities of the rev 2. Is it possible to use noise as a modulation source on the rev 2? Thank you in advance.

Yes. You can select "Noise" as a source in the mod matrix.

Great. Thank you! I didn't realize I can use noise cause the shortcut (hold source and turn noise) doesn't work...

You're welcome.
Indeed. I also initially thought that "noise" couldn't be a modulation source, until I scrolled through all available ones manually in the matrix.
Perhaps that non-working shortcut is something that could be fixed in an upcoming firmware revision ?

Perhaps, if someone will inform the support using the usual contact options... 8)
BTW: I have never got the idea to use noise as modulation source so far. What could be a useful usage of this? Thanks for giving me an example! :)

It can be used to modulate the filter cutoff to simulate sort of a drowning effect, when the modulation level is gradually raised, for example...
It can also be used as a pitch scattering effect when modulating the pitch in the same way...

Thanks! Good to know... :D

I'll write an email to support 😊
