Hello! I'm a happy, if slightly overwhelmed new owner of a Pro3. The other day I decided I should update it. I was procrastinating because it looks like a pain in the neck compared to other synths I've owned. Mine is version 1.2.0.4. Is that the most current? I can find no mention of that anywhere on Sequential's website.

The official stable release is, at the moment, 1.1.0.0, and can be seen linked on the Support (https://sequential.com/support/) page: https://www.sequential.com/updating-the-pro-3-os/
The latest posted beta is 1.2.0.2. Beta versions are posted in the forum and currently on this beta OS post (https://forum.sequential.com/index.php/topic,5201.0.html). 1.2.0.2 has generally been stable, as I recall.

Thank you for the information. So it sounds to me like I don't need to update anything then? I was a little surprised to find a beta, or newer, version of the OS installed already by the factory.

Some companies quickly follow up beta testing periods with release versions of the same code, but Sequential doesn't do that often. Whatever Sequential's latest BETA version is will usually be the most stable, bug free, feature rich OS available. If it has been 3-4 weeks since a beta release, I would recommend just downloading and installing their beta, even if you're a person who generally doesn't install betas from other companies.
Sounds like you're good to go @Bigmuff. Congrats on the Pro3 acquisition. It's an amazing synth!
