Title: Squeaky key?
Post by: amar99 on February 20, 2018, 12:52:52 AM
I've got a single key on the keyboard that has a high pitch squeak almost every time I press it. Doesn't matter if it's pressed gently or strongly. My synth is only a few weeks old, so I'm wondering if this is a common issue or if I'm the only one?

It's not the sort of thing I'm straining to hear - it's an actual distraction as I play.

Thanks.

Hi. No such problems here. The keys of the rev2 are really great. I guess you should contact support.

No problems of the sort here either. Smooth and silent keyboard action. Contacting DSI support is a good idea.

There was something about this in an older thread:

Solution was posted in the reply above:

See if this helps.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions, everyone.

Based on that last posting, it sounds like maybe I just need to contact support directly to see if I can get this sorted out without shipping the whole unit off somewhere. Will let you know how it goes.
