My Prophet 6 module is freezing when tweaking knobs hard...!! I have to reboot it when happens.....
Is it normal???......

nope, not normal. Are you connected to anything via USB when the lock up happens? (if so unplug to eliminate)
If you are receiving midi via DIN cable at the same time as controlling realtime have you made sure something (like DAW or other hardware) isn't sending weirdness like System Exclusive messages or massive midi data?

Don't know what else to suggest except for
1. resetting the Global Parameters (hold global and press write)
2. Checking firmware is latest and/or reinstalling.

Hi,
I have the last OS.
And yes I use my Prophet with Ableton in USB. Live is the master, so my P6 receive midi from it and send also midi to Ableton

Do you have the synth set to send/receive NRPN or CC's?  Ableton does not handle NRPN controller messages correctly/well, so that could be causing a bunch of unexpected behaviors.
