Is there any reason, why Prophet-5 and 10 have different IDs and why for example requesting a dump requires to know which synth is connected. Do Prophet-5 and 10 do have different Programm data?

Is there any way to detect which Prophet 5/10 is connected to the PC? Prophet ID 0x31 or 0x32
The Universal System Exclusive Message (Device Inquiry) only provides the sw version, but not the Prophet ID, right?
