Hi there. I thought that I could use the Novation Launchkey Mini's midi output (TRS style) to drive the phophet rev2 desktop model. I bought the adaptor from TRS to 5pin. Going into the MIDI in on the rev2 but nada, nothing comes out the headphone jack.
I've tried :
Global setting are set to Midi in
Making sure the cable works
The volume is up
Checked the user manual. nothing about TRS cables in but should work. I'm assuming rev2 is TRS A but that shouldnt matter , even if its TRS B is would make sound just send reversed info (i think)
I love the idea of just having a minimal setup for live performance with the launchkey mini and the desktop rev2 without a computer and hoping someone can help me or has had success with this set up? Thanks in advance!
