Osc 1 pitch jumps if I track automated cutoff filter via ableton

I’d be curious to see if somebody could recreate this for me. My prophet is in midi mode (local off to avoid double triggered notes), then I track a clip from scratch, then I turn on session record button, still fine. Then if I touch my cutoff filter to track that automation, my prophet’s first osc in layer A drops down into a muddy mess. This doesn’t happen if I use CC’s  instead of NRPN’s, but when using CC’s my LFO’s are untweakable for some reason.

It seems the cutoff filter spits out some NRPNS that conflict with OSC 1 pitch...

Does Ableton support NRPNs?
Prophet Rev2, Moog Matriarch, Novation Peak, Arturia DrumBrute Impact, Korg Kronos 2 88, Kurzweil PC 361, Yamaha S90ES

I’m learning it does not play well with NRPN’s. But with CC’s, local off, and midi control in the LFO’s are untweakable (regardless of clock settings).

Sorry for the confusion. I’ve been told elsewhere that the codeknobs plugin would sus this out so I’m going to look into that.
