Sustain - Toggle Hold

Hi,

I am wondering if there's a way to hold the notes after being sustained.
Let's say, i'm using both hands to play and then sustain them with a pedal. Pressing hold won't do anything but turn off the sustain.

Maybe there's a way, but I don't know how.
Can anyone help me with this?

Um...don't press hold? 

If you hit hold or a sustain pedal all notes played sustain and if you hit hold again or release the sustain pedal they will decay/release. Not sure what you're looking for. Are you using a sustain pedal?
