Replacement Pots?

Replacement Pots?
« on: April 18, 2018, 11:04:44 AM »
hi!

when jamming today, after heavy use, one of the pots seemed to get stuck mechanically, felt like it screeched to a halt, metal to metal grind, maybe it lost the oil ur lubricant inside, no how they are made tbh. the knob/pot/encoder suddenly got hard to turn, and it stays this way now, any idea what might have happened? used this synth in a clean environment, and recorded a super nice take until the knob broke (I mean it works, it is just hard to turn now and makes noise when turning) :D

also from the previous owner: the cutoff knob has a deadzone of about 1mm, so within about 1mm you can turn it and it won't change any value - I am used to using a soldering iron to fix my problems, any way to get replacement knobs that will last longer, I would solder them in myself..

thanks!

The best way to find out would be to contact the DSI support team via e-mail.
