How come...

How come...

Okay, first do this: go to preset 988. Now play a series of notes very fast, f.i. C-B-A-G-F descending and legato. Do the same thing with preset 829 and preset 903 but turn off the arp.
Notice how only the first or some notes have sound and/or attack. This has NOTHING to do with the note priority settings Lo/Hi/Last, I checked it with all these options!
So my question is: explain this to me + what knobs to I need to turn to get a sound out of every note when I play a fast series of notes.

Thanks

Okay, after fooling around with the settings I can answer my own question.
My prophet 6 was connected via the left output (that also says audio out) as this is generally also a kind of mono/summed output. When I changed stereo to mono in the globals all the notes are there on those presets mentioned.

So you can use the P6 left output as a mono out but make sure you set the globals bottom row 7 to mono.
I think this is not something that is clearly stated in the manual and important to know.
