Step Sequencer Bug

Step Sequencer Bug
« on: June 15, 2017, 04:51:32 PM »
Hi,

just powered my prophet after a good two months of daily use without a hitch
and the step sequencer seems to be acting weird :

When hitting record, the steps increment by 2 (2,4,6,8) and when
hitting play, the sequencer only plays the first note on repeat rendering
the sequencer unusable as is.

I've updated to the latest version and never had this problem before
(running logic 8 and pro tools on OSX yosemite 10.10.5 )

Prophet is a rack unit receiving data via MIDI cable from a Kurzweil SP4-8 keyboard
(himself receiving infos from logic via usb)

Anyone ever had the same problem and found a way to fix it?

Working on an album and desperately need this to work

Thanks in advance

This sounds like a MIDI feedback loop. Try disconnecting MIDI Out or turning Local Control OFF in the Global menu. Also try turning off any "soft MIDI Thru" that might be enabled in Logic.

Turned it on and off and it did the trick!

Thank you so much !
